Urban mobility : what are the EU financing opportunities ?

DG MOVE provides a compact guide to main sources of funding for sustainable urban mobility. For more information, links specify the following items :
1. The biggest source is the European Structural and Investment Funds.
2. The Connecting Europe Facility funds finance the trans-European transport network projects.
3. The European Investment Bank can give loans and guarantees.
4. The INTERREG Europe 2014-2015 programme co-finances public authorities from different regions to work together on a shared policy issue, including in the areas of low-carbon economy and resource-efficiency.
5. The URBACT III programme co-finances the creation of networks of cities who develop integrated solutions to common urban challenges.
6. The Innovative actions in sustainable urban development initiative will start in a few months and co-finance urban development projects.
7. The LIFE programme co-finances projects that improve air quality and reduce emissions.
8. The Horizon2020 programme finances CIVITAS.
9. The European Fund for Strategic Investments is the tool set up for the Juncker Investment Plan
